We are seeking a Business Developer Controlling to join and strengthen the Business Development and Strategy team within R&D. This position brings together financial and controlling expertise with business development and strategic project management. Working across functions and organizational units, you will help enhance financial governance, planning, transparency, and decision-making while leading strategic initiatives that support the continued development of our R&D organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and improve financial interfaces, roles, and areas of responsibility across R&D departments and other relevant parts of the organization.

• Lead strategic finance and controlling initiatives within R&D.

• Enhance processes for financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and performance follow-up.

• Collaborate with Commercial stakeholders to prioritize investments across Brand R&D.

• Strengthen financial governance, management frameworks, processes, and internal controls.

• Analyze financial information to identify key performance drivers, improve data quality, and create greater transparency around financial results.

• Explore and implement digital and AI-enabled solutions that streamline financial processes and support better decision-making.

• Coordinate finance-related activities for externally funded R&D projects when relevant.

Education

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as: Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering and Management, Engineering or Economics

Professional Experience

Required Experience

• 5 years of experience in project management and controlling/ finance.

• Solid background in finance, controlling, or finance-related business development.

• Strong competence in financial analysis and accounting principles.

• Experience working with senior stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.

• Proficiency in Power BI or comparable data visualization, and analytics tools.

• Full professional proficiency in English

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in finance, controlling, or finance-focused business development within R&D, engineering, or a similarly complex industrial organization.

• Familiarity with externally funded projects, such as EU or national funding programs, including financial reporting requirements, funding guidelines, or audit procedures.

Additional Language Skills – Advantageous

• Knowledge of Swedish, German, and/or Portuguese is considered an advantage.
