Procurement Process Specialist - Gothenburg
Join an international transformation project as a Procurement Process Specialist, supporting purchasing systems, process improvements, and collaboration between business and IT.
We are currently looking for a structured and proactive Procurement Process Specialist with a strong interest in systems, purchasing flows, and process improvement. This is a consulting assignment with good possibilities for extension.
The assignment takes place in an international environment undergoing a larger system and process transformation. In this role, you will support the organization during the transition and collaborate closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure efficient and stable procurement processes in the new system landscape.
About the role
You will join a team working with procurement-related processes, mainly connected to IT purchasing and operational support. The role combines administrative, operational, and system-oriented responsibilities where you will support users, manage system-related questions, and coordinate issue handling.
You will work as an important link between end users, support functions, and the procurement organization.
Main responsibilities
• Provide support regarding procurement systems and related processes
• Investigate and resolve purchasing-related issues
• Create, manage, and coordinate support tickets
• Collaborate with business users, buyers, and support teams
• Maintain and update master data in business systems
• Contribute to process improvements connected to the new system environment
• Support key users and superusers within the ongoing transformation project
Requirements
• Academic degree within Finance, IT, Business Administration, or similar
• Experience from procurement-related roles such as Procurement Coordinator, Purchasing Controller, Process Specialist, or similar
• Understanding of procurement systems and purchasing processes
• Experience working with master data, troubleshooting, and business systems
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
Meritorious experience
• Experience working with SAP and preferably SAP Ariba
• Experience from system implementation or transformation projects
• Experience from international or global organizations
• Understanding of strategic procurement-related work
• Experience working in cross-functional environments between business and IT
