We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Specialist to support ongoing business development initiatives by utilizing strong system and business expertise to identify, propose, and design future-oriented solution improvements. The role also includes contributing to project and rollout activities while ensuring alignment with established global standards and templates.

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating business needs and translating them into effective solutions
• Configuring systems and/or producing technical specifications for enhancements and new functionality
• Supporting, testing, and maintaining Record to Report processes and solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional and technical teams while providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues
• Contributing to continuous improvements and long-term solution optimization

Qualifications & Experience:

We are seeking someone with extensive experience within SAP Finance and Controlling, combined with strong knowledge of system architecture, configuration, concepts, and best practices. You should be comfortable communicating complex financial and SAP-related topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a large international organization.

Required and preferred experience:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience within SAP Finance, including configuration and solution design
• Strong expertise in areas such as Payments, Banking, BCM, Electronic Bank Statements, Cash Management, and Treasury within SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
• Participation in at least three implementation projects
• Experience supporting and improving SAP Finance solutions over time, including troubleshooting, optimization, and adaptation to changing business requirements
• Understanding of financial processes in larger organizations
• Experience with SAP transport and change management tools such as STMS, Solution Manager, and ActiveControl
• Ability to work with WRICEF-related functional specifications including workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms

Additional beneficial experience:

• Experience with SAP Treasury components such as MM, FX, Yield Curves, Cash Pooling, and Sweeps is considered beneficial
• Knowledge or experience of FICA Payments is an advantage
• Background within retail environments, particularly SAP FI-CA
• Experience with SWIFT integrations
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as SAFe or similar
