We are seeking a Chief Project Manager on behalf of our client. The client is currently rolling out a new financial platform — Master Finance 2.0 — as a key enabler for executing their 2030 strategy. The platform, built on SAP S/4HANA, is designed to enhance financial transparency and streamline financial operations through an improved information model.

As part of the ongoing transformation, the manual billing functionality currently hosted in the existing IT environment (Master Finance 1.0) will be decentralized to TD and BA platforms. This change aims to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions and alignment with upcoming compliance standards.

Assignment Overview:

The objective of this assignment is to lead the development of a new billing platform based on SAP S/4HANA, which will support the billing flows currently managed in MF 1.0. The scope includes areas such as Production Logistics, Manufacturing, and Service Market Logistics.

In parallel with designing the new platform using SAP S/4 standard capabilities, the assignment also involves assessing current billing scenarios to identify opportunities for automation — specifically, migrating manual flows to the existing automated processes where feasible.

Special focus will be placed on the supplier claims process, particularly related to incorrect or damaged goods received from suppliers.

The first key milestone is the go-live of Master Finance 2.0 at the Swedish Powertrain plants, scheduled for April 1, 2026.

In summary, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading the coordination and development of billing solutions within the SAP SD module
• Analyzing existing use cases where billing is currently handled manually in MF 1.0

• Lead change management efforts and act as business representative to transition billing flows toward a standardized, automated solution
• Lead the development of a cross-functional solution for managing supplier claims
• Collaborate closely with project teams involved in the MF 2.0 implementation

The selected candidate will be accountable for developing the project plan, managing resource coordination, and ensuring that the defined scope is delivered on time and within budget. A hands-on approach and close collaboration with the business will be essential.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Solid background in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of end-to-end processes within industrial plants or distribution centers
• Over 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in global and cross-functional settings
• Proficient in both traditional project management practices and agile methodologies
• Proven track record in leading projects related to the implementation of financial and logistics systems and processes
• Hands-on experience in driving change initiatives, with familiarity in structured change management frameworks
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels
• A proactive team player with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and networking capabilities, combined with a solution-oriented mindset

Please note that occasional travel within Sweden will be required for this role.
