Strategy Coordinator (automotive sector) - Södertälje

We are looking for a Strategic Technology Planning Support for our client in the automotive industry. You will play a key role in assisting the strategic development and oversight of emerging technologies within a leading automotive organization. This includes contributing to planning, analysis, and coordination efforts that shape long-term technology direction and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to day-to-day operations, particularly related to Core vs. Non-core assessments and Research & Innovation initiatives.
- Drive the implementation of governance models that align with the company’s overall strategic direction.
- Organize, coordinate, and facilitate cross-functional meetings, often involving senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Ensure effective documentation and follow-up on key decisions, action items, and updates to strategic roadmaps.
- Work in close partnership with senior leaders from various departments including R&D, Innovation, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Strategy.
- Lead and coordinate strategic workshops as well as sessions focused on innovation planning.
- Act as a bridge between departments, ensuring effective communication and alignment on cross-functional strategic priorities.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering or Finance, with a technical background.
- Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Swedish and/or German is a plus.
- 5–10 years of experience in a related professional field, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Demonstrated success in areas such as strategic management, governance frameworks, and innovation planning.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence in collaborating with executive stakeholders.
- A self-starter with the ability to independently drive and manage complex initiatives.
- Open to and capable of working partially on-site in Södertälje, as part of a hybrid arrangement.
